At the opening number Evgeni was last to skate after Michelle. He was magnificent very relaxed and smiling, he had his orange top and black pants and he did his tummy slide , when he was skating close to us, we screamed "Zhenya we love you" and he looked and waved to us. I think Evgeni grew a little bit and his hair is very long now. He looked so gorgeous on the ice, very tall, blond, and slim and perfect posture! I tell you he was the best looking men on the ice.
His "Carmen" was so perfect he did two 3/3 combinations ( I think so, or it could be 3/2 or 4/3, I am not very good at recognizing jumps) and a few more triples, and he enjoyed skating, it was like a game to him, and he played so well, Evgeni is a real artist, the audience was clapping along with the music and a few groups were screaming including us. Evgeni got the best applause of the night and quite a few people were standing when he finished, and when he did his bows the applause was even louder. Then Michelle was on the ice (she was the last to skate) and she tried to clean the ice because a few people had thrown presents for Evgeni.
In the closing number Evgeni was even more relaxed and was smiling even more, he noticed me (I was on row one by that time, waving to him with a bag of presents and a card ), he waved to me and nodded with his head that he will pick it up later. He did two more triple jumps ( I think so) and had a rough landing on one, but no falls .
It was so great so see our Zhenya skating with joy and a smile all night.
When the show was over, he skated to me and picked up his present, I gave him a hug and wished him good luck, he told me "thank you".
